Username
There are no significant restrictions, but spaces are not allowed. You may use your email address as your username or create a unique username.
Note
If you share an email address with someone else, you must create a unique username.
Password
Password requirements:
Passwords must not start or end with a space
Contain at least 12 characters long
Contain at least one letter
Contain at least one number
Include at least one special character
Passwords must not include any invalid special characters
Passwords are case sensitive

Authentication Questions
These are used to authenticate your account when you contact FACTS with questions.
Email verification method
Steps
Example verification code
Click Use email.
If only one email address is stored on your profile, the authentication code is automatically sent.
If you have multiple email addresses saved to your profile, select the one where you'd like the authentication code sent.You must select the email address to which you want the code sent each time you attempt to log in.
ClickSend code.
Open your email inbox to access your one-time use code.
Type the code in the Verification code text box.
ClickSubmit code. Multi-factor authentication is complete.
Authenticator app method
Click Use authenticator app.
To register:
Using an authenticator app on your smartphone, scan the QR code or type in the code provided.
Using an authenticator app on your desktop, copy and paste the code provided.
Type the Verification Code from your app to ensure the app is properly linked to your account.
Click Submit code.
You may print the recovery codes. OR ClickDownload recovery codes.
In the event you lose your device or cannot access your authenticator app, use these backup recovery codes to access your account and store them in a safe place.
Click Continue. Multi-factor authentication is complete.
You may choose to receive a verification code by email or use your preferred authenticator app. FACTS does not require or limit which app you use.
Important
If you have a separate FACTS user account for Financial Aid Management or from another school that uses FACTS, verify that those credentials (username and password) did not autofill.
